Self-sustaining Cells involves a multi FX pedal used to generate audio live in conjunction with visual projection. Feedback is sustained and forms the raw material for modulation and play, the main intention being to explore the different aesthetics of noise that can be mustered from the FX at hand.

Self-sustaining Cells is a new project from James Shearman that began as a result of a heavy accumulation of influence and inspiration feeding into the creative processes that was largely noise. Power electronics, rhythmic noise, drone from both historically renowned noise musicians and contemporaries alike.
