At The Prophetic Sound Neal Spowage will present the concepts and practices behind his recent collaboration with Danai Pappa called ‘sib Conduit’.

‘sib Conduit’ is a movement based, dance orientated performance for two performers. It demonstrates a new analogue sculptural noise instrument called ‘The Electronic Dumbell’. The piece incorporates a big Dumbell and a small Dumbell; one for a Choreographer and one for a Musician. There are two compositional stages; the Tudor style design and build of the instrument on the workbench, and the Laban style devised performance that incorporates the gestural expertise of a choreographer.
